Holding qualifications from CPA Australia (2014) and the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) in 2000, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Plenty Valley Accounting.
His extensive career includes significant roles such as the Finance Executive Lead at Everyday Independence, where he oversaw finance and IT functions for a company operating across all states in Australia. His responsibilities included preparing Management Accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to the Board of Directors. He played a pivotal role in expanding the business growth from a $15m turnover to a $100m revenue business plan.
In addition to his role at Everyday Independence, Kit Chan has held key positions at South Pacific Laundry as a Group Accountant and at Labplas as a Finance Manager. His responsibilities in these roles ranged from producing timely Management Accounts, ensuring daily finance department functions, to developing accurate costing systems and introducing efficient internal documentation systems.
